Founded in 2012 by final year students with the desire to establish a charity fund for deserving cases at the University's veterinary hospitals, SAIN has supported numerous animals and their owners over the past ten years.
With the support of fellow classmates, SAIN fundraises through bake sales, the annual VetBall charity raffle, and co-hosting charity runs and pub quizzes with GUVMA clubs. Additionally, SAIN is a beneficiary of the GUVMA Rodeo Event, the University's largest charity event held each spring at the Garscube Estate. These events, along with many generous individual donors, keep our organization afloat and allow us to continue serving our mission of making sure financial barriers do not prevent animals in need from getting the care they deserve.
For our tenth anniversary year, the SAIN committee is setting an inSAIN goal - £1,000 !
